Pre-owned Cartier Roadster XL ref W6206019 is a departure from the usual geometric-shaped cases you might be used to seeing from the legendary French Maison. Developed around the turn of the new millennium, the Roadster pays an homage of sorts to sports cars from the 1950s, featuring similar lines and numerous design elements directly inspired by motorsport. At the same time, the short-lived collection embraces the instantly recognizable Cartier aesthetic, including those iconic Roman numeral hour markers and the chemin de fer minute track. It also manages to make the inherently sporty chronograph sleek and dressy, featuring polished stainless steel, rectangular pushers, oblong sub-dials, and contemporary sword-shaped hands filled with luminescent material.
