Pre-owned Cartier Santos Dumont Limited Edition ref WGSA0084 (2021) is an ultra-exclusive edition of the gold Santos, produced in quantities of just 200 watches. The Santos Dumont collection, initially released in 2004, was inspired by early 1904 Santos watches, featuring a similar case shape, blue cabochon crown, and bezel decorated with visible screw heads. Ref. WGSA0084 is a modern expression of the series cased in 18k yellow gold and featuring an XL case, blue alligator skin strap, and stunning guilloché dial adorned with blue dumortierite Roman numeral hour markers and retro apple-shaped hands. Cartier paid homage to the original 1904 model's muse, Alberto Santos-Dumont, by engraving his signature on the case back - a detail any passionate Cartier collector will appreciate. Cartier has also furnished this gold masterpiece with an in-house caliber 430 MC hand-wound mechanical movement.
