We are the largest online luxury watch retailer in the country. We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join our expanding team. - Meet or exceed established purchasing quotas.
- Manage an inbound queue of leads in a timely and efficient manner.
- Evaluate, price, and purchase pre-owned luxury timepieces in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Deliver world class customer service and support to customers before, during, and after the purchase process.
- Research, understand, and communicate fair market value and demand of pre-owned luxury timepieces.
- Continuously learn, develop and refine stronger purchasing skills and strategies and improve knowledge about the luxury watch industry.
- Identify and implement opportunities to personalize the purchasing experience to enhance long term relationships.
- Attend meetings, events, and training seminars to keep informed of the latest industry developments.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- 1+ year(s) of sales/purchasing/negotiating experience, preferably in the jewelry and/or luxury retail industry.
- Excellent prioritization and note-taking skills, in order to effectively manage client inquiries.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Be open and responsive to feedback/coaching in order to improve performance.
- Knowledge of and a passion for vintage and/or modern luxury timepieces, particularly Rolex, is a plus!
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering world class service.
- Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and CRM software.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + commission
