Pre-owned Rolex Air-King ref 14000 (2005 - 2006) hails from the Air Series of watches developed in 1945 as an homage to Royal Air Force Pilots, who often preferred their own personal Rolex watches over their military-issued timepieces. Today, the collection is highly revered as one of the best entry-level Rolexes because it boasts the prestige and enduring design of the Crown without commanding a top-tier price. Ref. 14000 replaced the long-running 55XX series in the late 1980s, bringing a tougher scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and then-new caliber 3000 self-winding mechanical movements. It will appeal to a broad range of collectors with an understated steel-on-steel design set and matching silver dial.
