Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116500 (2023) is about to become even harder to come by than it already was because it was recently discontinued to make way for the brand-new 1265XX series. It’s an important Rolex model for many reasons. Ref. 116500 was the last stainless steel model to use the caliber 4130 - the current generation is powered by the newer caliber 4131. It was also the first stainless steel model to sport a ceramic bezel. Rolex produced ref. 116500 with a black or white dial and a striking black ceramic bezel. The Rolex Daytona ceramic bezel reference 116500 is terrific and well worth my two year wait to get one. To me it resembles some of the vintage Daytona models from the 70s but with all the latest technology and craftsmanship and expect from Rolex

Well this is my 5th time dealing with Bobs since I have bought and sold but this time I traded my Submariner for my dream watch the Daytona ceramic white face. This watch is on back order so I know that I paid more than if I waited for it to be available at Rolex but I couldn’t pass up the mint condition watch Bobs had. I brought to Rolex in NYC to get an insurance appraisal which came in lower than I paid. This has been my dream watch since it was launched and it’s the newest closest looking to the classic Paul Newman so I don’t care about the price I’m keeping this one
