This GMT is in overall great, honest vintage condition. The case is in great condition with normal signs of wear. The red-back bezel insert is in great condition; the blue portion has faded beautifully and the red has remained vibrant. The dial is in overall excellent condition with light patina and a few light marks in the center and around the edge; these can be hard to notice. The lume on the dial and in the hands has developed light patina and has remained white. The lume in the hands have developed a bit of patina. The lume in the minute hand has a spot of lume repair towards the tip and in that repair it shows a crack. The bracelet is in good condition with normal signs of wear and a bit of stretch between the links.
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1976 example is in overall beautiful and has a great look overall with the slightly faded bezel and white lume. It comes directly from the original owner who got it as a gift in the late 1970s and wore it for many years.
This watch has what collectors refer to as a Mark 3 "Radial" dial and the defining characteristic of this is placement and size of the lume plots. They are placed a bit further away from the minute hash-marks giving this dial a distinct look. The "Radial Dial" is one of the most sought after matte dial variations due to its unique appearance.

Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
