This GMT-Master is in great vintage condition with wear consistent with age. The case is strong with normal signs of wear. The red back bezel is in overall great condition with normal signs of wear; the blue portion of the bezel has faded slightly but overall the colors are vibrant. There is a nick and scratch on the red portion of the bezel, between the 14 and 16. The dial is in great condition with light patina. The lume on the dial is an attractive marshmallow color. The hands have developed some patina and the lume color matches the dial; the minute hand shows some wear to the lume and the GMT has been color corrected/ relumed to match the color of the rest of the lume. The jubilee bracelet is in overall great condition with normal signs of wear and some stretch between the links.
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1978 example is in overall nice, honest vintage condition. This watch has what collectors refer to as a Mark 4 dial and the defining characteristic of this is the tall coronet and the placement of the "M" in "Master" over the "C" in chronometer, it lines up to the center of the “C.” From the nicely aged bezel to the lovely marshmallow lume color especially paired on the Jubilee bracelet - this watch has a great vintage look and feel!

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
